For more than 25 years, Bonnie Curry has been sharing her life, adventures and humor on the radio. She says, "I've always been a pretty open book and over the years, I've had some very funny stories to share. I'm happily married, I've raised two kids while working at a job I love. There's been ups and downs and talking honestly about those moments keeps it real. I feel so blessed to get to talk to people and hear their stories. I like making that connection and playing music that encourages people. It's real life and we're living and sharing it together."

Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Bonnie spent most of her life in New Mexico and is as comfortable on a ranch as she is in the city. When she was 15, her pastor recommended she apply for a job at a local Christian radio station and she's been in broadcasting ever since. She's won many awards as a copywriter, producer and journalist and is considered one of the top female on-air personalities in radio. She is also a nationally recognized voice talent and can be heard on radio and television advertising around the country.

Bonnie has been married to Ernest, her high-school sweetheart, since 1986 and has two daughters: Erin and Staci. Her family is growing with a son-in-law and a new grand-baby, Gideon. She is an active member of her community and is passionate about helping many charities and organizations in D/FW.

In her spare time, she loves to garden, travel and review movies. Her husband is a wonderful cook and she fully supports his talent by cleaning up the kitchen.

Jayme Summers

I grew up in Texas, but Georgia is forever home to me. It's where I married my husband and where my kids were born. A big piece of my heart sits in a small coastal town in Southern Georgia.

I kind of fell into radio, with zero intentions of being on-air (I was painfully shy... still am but I hide it better). One day a DJ got sick, and 18 years later here I am. I really love what I do and I am thankful for the many opportunities I've been given.

My perfect weekend would include some kind of on the water activity with my kids and husband. I just love the water. Ocean, lake, river, or stream; if I can dip my toes in it, I'm happy.

I get really nerdy when I get to talk with people about the youth department at their church. My husband and I have served in youth and college ministry for over 10 years now. I love brainstorming about different ways to guide teens through such crazy times in their lives. Plus, you haven't lived until you've spent the night at a youth lock-in playing capture the flag at 3 am. Some of my favorite stories start with "We we're at youth camp...".

One of the greatest pieces of advice I've ever received didn't come in the form of advice. My husband and I were having lunch with our then Pastor and Friend, Brother Roland Dann. At the time there had been a lot of debate over the location of the nails. Were they in Jesus' hands or wrists? I asked Bro. Roland what he thought, and he responded with "Does it matter? What really matters is that he was hanging on a cross and dyeing for our sins.". That one statement, 15 years ago, is something that stuck with me. I constantly ask myself if my focus is on the nails or the cross.

I'm so excited and blessed to get to work with such a talent and God focused group of people. I'm blessed to be a part of what God is doing here.

Doug Griffin

Doug on Doug:
I was born in California, in Newport Beach. I grew up in the SF Bay area, in Northern California. One big year in my life was my senior year of High School. I spent that year in Minden, Germany as an exchange student. (Class of '85).

I've been in radio since 1988, with many stations including KSOL (where I was Doug EE Fresh the traffic rapper) 6 years as "Jungle Doug" on KRTY/Country in San Jose, and 3 years on the syndicated "Doug & Connie / Doug & Karla" morning show. I also worked with our Christian music channels on XM Satellite Radio.

My favorite holiday movie is "Young Frankenstein". (Honestly!) That’s what my mom and I use to watch each Christmas. "What hump?"

I actually met my wife Sheryl through KRTY (although she'll tell you that she was not a "groupie"). She just wanted to see the "face behind the voice" .. and after she got the scary part over, we got married. (There is really a lot more to it but we'll share that for the next marriage retreat.) Sheryl is truly the back bone of the family – because she does so much behind the scenes - I can try to go to bed each night at 8. (That 3am wake up call comes much too early). My wife is also sharing her story in her book “A Scarlet Cord of Hope – My Journey through Guilt, Shame and Fear to Hope”. Her website is www.SherylGriffin.com

My oldest daughter - Lauren is married to a great Godly man – Stephen, and my son – Garic “Baby Man” Griffin is the only non-Californian in the family – He was born in Franklin TN in 1998.

My favorite verse is Phil. 4:6-7 which in the "Message" reads "Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life."
